Did he have prove that the poor black man was selling those cigarettes ?
ReplyDeleteHe Probably had proof that indeed Eric sold those cigarettes, but that is no excuse to brutalize him as he did. In my opinion I think he should have arrested him without any violence because Police are meant to serve and protect not to brutalize people who they are meant to serve.
ReplyDeleteindeed black lives matter, because the movement initiators knows that all lives matter.
ReplyDeleteI don't think black lives matter just because the initiators of the movement thinks so.... Black lives matters even if no one thinks so
DeleteWe are all human beings our color does not have to determine the manner in which we must treat each other, I agree with you strongly on that we are all humans and we must have Ubuntu.
ReplyDeleteVery true man,we were all made by one God irrespective of our skin color
DeleteWe are like why should we be set apart from other race no we device to tread fairly and equal we are all humans after all
ReplyDeleteTrue that hey
DeleteThis topic really pains me because I as a black person in South Africa can relate to it
ReplyDeleteit is actually a worldwide phenomena. every black person around the world is affected and can relate hence the movement has so many followers.
DeleteYes the lives of black people have been targeted in the Us especially by the white police hence the movement black lives matter have been formed.
ReplyDeleteOur skin colour should not make us any less human than the next person.
ReplyDeleteExactly hey... because it is not like a black skin is inferior to other skin colors
DeleteGreat analysis of the topic. But my opinion is that all lives matter and we live in a global village.
ReplyDeleteexactly and everyone should be acknowledged in whatever country they choose to reside in and for the kind of person they are no matter their skin color or race
DeleteLol you can say that again. He thinks just because He's rich he can say whatever he wants and easily get away with it... Money drives him mad.

ReplyDeleteMoney drives him crazy
ReplyDeleteVery interesting post. Was very fun to read. #BlackLivesMatter #AllLivesMatter
ReplyDeletelol... Clash of the hashtags!
DeleteI won't forget the Eric Garner saga, it made even South Africans rise up. Truly shows black lives matter in any country or continent
ReplyDeleteit is very touching hey, and the reason he was brutalized is not even plausible enough. Yes he did sell those untaxed cigarettes but that's no excuse for choking him, this clearly shows that the perpetrator had a motive for causing harm to him, if it is not him being black then I don't know what is.
DeleteIt painful to live with reality that we might never be at point where all lives will be equally important, a point where one's skin colour doesn't qualify or disqualify them to have a better life.
